By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Halal Machi mobile application or website (https://halalmachi.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application or website.

2 Halal Information & Verification Disclaimer

Halal Machi strives to provide transparent, accurate, and up-to-date dietary and facility information. However, users acknowledge that:

Manufacturer Recipe Changes: Japanese food manufacturers periodically modify ingredient compositions without prior notice. Always inspect packaging labels (原材料名) directly on the physical product before consuming.

Restaurant Policy & Supplier Changes: Restaurant management, meat suppliers, and cross-contamination practices may change. While we display verified criteria, you are encouraged to re-confirm directly with venue staff when ordering.

Personal Dietary Strictness: Islamic juristic opinions vary regarding micro-additives, synthetic ethanol, or animal rennet. Halal Machi presents transparent factual evidence so you can exercise your own judgment according to your personal madhab or preference.

3 User Submissions, Reviews & Conduct

When using community submission features (suggesting places, reporting errors, or submitting reviews), you agree:

Not to submit false, misleading, fraudulent, or defamatory content regarding any business or individual.
To upload only authentic, relevant photographs taken by you or for which you have explicit rights to publish.
Not to post offensive, abusive, hateful, or commercial spam content.
We reserve the right to review, edit, reject, or remove any community submission at our sole discretion.

4 Intellectual Property

The Halal Machi brand name, logo, custom algorithms, application UI, design system, and ingredient rule classifications are the proprietary intellectual property of Halal Machi. All rights reserved. OpenStreetMap and third-party trademarks are property of their respective owners.

5 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Halal Machi and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or personal dissatisfaction arising from your use of the application, dietary choices, or visits to third-party venues listed in the directory.

6 Modifications & Governing Law

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the app following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
